Torsion Bar Not Seating

How are you trying to install the torsion bars? what are your steps you use to install a torsion bar.

Many years ago in my youth i used to have a hell of a time getting torsion bars to go in the lower control arm. Found out I needed to loosen the lower control arm castle nut to get the torsion bar in .

is the torsion bar lined up with the cup, for lack of better word, on the lca and going in , or is the torsion bar not aligning with the cup.
I loosen the LCA strut nut then use a bottle jack under the LCA to lift it just a little to get the hex socket opening to line up with the hex on the bar. Once they line up, I tap the bar into the socket until it seats. I used the TB removal tool on the bar to try to get it fully seated, but would not go any further. Car is still at the frame shop so cannot compare the other side to see if the pivot and bushing are fully seated. After seating the bars & setting an initial height, I lowered the car and tightened the LCA strut nuts.
