Have any of you installed the Borgeson power steering kit,(#999063) in a first generation Barracuda. I’m going to purchase this kit to install in my 1965 Barracuda and would like any input as to what problems I might encounter. It is a power steering car now.
Thanks

No idea have not tried yet but super curious how it goes as I have been thinking of trying one out . Let us know. Maybe call borgeson or try over at slantsix.org which has lots of early a body guys over there.

A friend did his 64 Dodge B body and said it's great.
You may have to do a little fitting where the box bolts to the K frame.
Nothing hard just some grinding to get it to fit flush on the K frame.Very minor.

Id ask for your threads to be consolidated and stop starting new ones for the most comprehensive help on the subject.... just saying.

Just trying to get some quick feedback before I go through with the order.

Toss all that steering crap and just run independent rear brakes with two pedals.

Just throwing that out there.

Please don't post numerous threads for the same exact subject. It has taken me 15 min to correct it, merge the threads and delete the duplicate posts.

Save some engine bay space abd go electric power steering.Just throwing it out there
which i'm in the middle of, and would say if you already have the PS pump hanging off the motor, just go with the new Borgeson chuck and make you life easier

I thought there was a thread around with side by side pictures. Can't remember if it was manual or power.

The Borgeson unit was shorter and wider.

Yeah, I know that the Borgeson unit is smaller and lighter.
