hey you ford fans!

The local High School has a racing team.
One of their racers is a Comet with an FE of unknown displacement to me.View attachment 1715755908
Shaved off those immense front shock towers and installed coil overs.
I think I saw it run 11.10s at Famoso.

An FE? Dammit, what throwback archaic motor. I love them, though. They can make a boatload of power.

No 7.3s EVER... (i gave mine away, it was the best and the worst truck i ever owned.)

It was the best truck ever with the Myers plow down and the long bed full of ice, tranny in granny low first, P Wag spike chains on tight and zero fucks..

Got two diesels. One pulls the race car, the other is gonna move three households of stuff, (or more),from california to arizona.

You're clearly a 10%er. lol

Guilty as charged. Like round body falcons and galaxys and have always liked OBS ford trucks. That bronco needs to be in my driveway. But not at that price.

I love my falcon. One of my favorite old cars I’ve had.

Which we hear too little about.....

How is the falcon doing?? Running.... driving.???

It runs good. I need to replace the accelerator pump and mess with the brakes. Then I can road test it. It's not like it's an ongoing project. It's a back burner kinda thing. I have a friend who wants it pretty bad, but as with anything he buys, he wants to lowball the hell out of me. Piss on him.

i used to plow with my bronco and for driveways, that thing was awesome
it would push plenty and turn on a dime

i replaced it with an 05 F350
diesel, with a quad cab (also big enough to fit the entire family)

it pushes better then the bronco did, but also tends to get stuck sooner (not as good a tires and a ton more weight over the front axle, and none over the rear)
and it sure doesnt turn like the bronco did

I always liked Fords. One of my friends growing up in Orlando, FL parents drove a 64 lightweight super stock Galaxy on the street. 427 side Oiler, 2 x 4 barrels, and a 4 speed. His 100 lb mother could drive that thing, too cool. Had a line of 9” pumpkins in the garage.

I souped up an early Falcon for our local parts store owner. 170 cu in Special. 200 head, Clifford Research cam kit and headers, and a 300 Ford 1 barrel carb. It was a strong little motor in that light Falcon.

I used to have a 2000 F350 dually with a 7.3 diesel n I upgraded it with everything Banks had for it. Damn thing could be a house done afterwards. I loved that truck.
Hate to say it but I’m working on a 1970 Cougar XR7 convertible at the same time as my 66 I brought home the other day.

Always liked the Cougars, strange that I have not owned one, well not a classic one, I did have a 1978 Cougar once.
