I’ll bet with better marketing Dart Convertible 4speeds would have surpassed all other marks.
I might be prejudiced but a light sporty convertible with a 4 speed could stand toe-toe with the Mustang of the day.
And they did. That was Dodge's answer to the Mustang. The Barracuda was Plymouth's competition as well as the Valiant. All those models could be had with v8's and 4 speeds starting in 64. Many of those were 4 speeds as well.
