I have never heard of big rats in my area so that comes as a huge surprise. We only have deer mice that I know of, the little basterds that carry hantavirus, but those **** out the little black shitz that look like little seeds.

I have been here half my life and I've never heard of rats, big rats. So I'm leaning towards the squirrel Idea because we do see those, but in all my time here I've never seen a squirrel get under the hood and do damage like and two cars this summer like that ...????

Time to call Rainbo.... :elmer:

We do have rats here, they are called Mexican wood rats, 8-10 inches long with tail. I get them around here all the time, you should have them down there also..

every time squirrels take up under a hood round here you see big stock piles of acorns and acorn shells thay already ate,..never noticed any ...chit from squirrels!!

Next time somebody says, "You Mopar A Body guys don't know ****", I now have proof that we actually do!

That's rat or possum crap. Rabbit poo looks like cocoa puffs.
I've had a possum get in my dart when I had the steering column out, and got trapped in the car when I reinstalled the column, and then my valiant had a possum die in the back seat after crawling in through the rusted out floor boards. Possums love mopars, at least mine, it seems.

In any case, poison it, break its neck, or camp out with a .22. If you're not careful you'll find some bum living under there soon enough.

Especially if it's a slant 6 car.

We need close up of turds and maybe a chemical analysis to make an informed recommendation as to how to proceed?? Or as said, give the critter coctail of Coke (A Cola) and fly bait, mix in a little anti freeze (non diluted!)

put a drop cam (or internet camera, baby monitor, etc) under there and load up MIPC on your cell phone or computer. you then access the camera feed and watch the show. Caught the rat under the house with one.
