Dash Pad Covers

I did one to cover up my busted up Barracuda dash...
I like it, got it from Fee-bay for about $120 bucks.

You can get the same cap for a hundred and twenty bucks

Sure! It's a Molded ABS Plastic Cap that Glues down to your existing Dash pad...
I just Set mine on there without the adhesive, snaps on tight, doesn't come off at 80mph with the windows down and wing vents open.

Do you presently have a dash pad? Not sure the cap would work if you have no pad at all.

My 63 Valiant originally had the pad, but as they were optional (even on Signets) I just filled the holes and painted the dash.

Yea our '63 Dart did not have the pad. By '66 I assumed that was mandatory. It is there but cracked.

So you want a pad for a 66? What model? Barracudas did have a dash pad standard. My literature shows a dash pad being a $16 option for Valiants. No idea about Darts.

Oh, Just Dashes will restore your cracked dash pad. It will look like brand new when they are done, but you might faint when you see their prices.

In 66, the dash pad may have been standard on Signet models. I read somewhere recently that it was standard on top of the line Darts about that time.

Classic Industries has a cover for the early A's.

Contact Coverlay in San Angelo Tx. They are a dash cap manufacturer. I bought one direct from them one time. It fit pretty good. Works best if you install it on the dash pad with the pad off the car.

Old post, but faint like three digit faint, or faint like four digit faint?

Pretty sure we're talking four digits. The one for my 63 Studebaker Lark cost almost $3,000. That one covers the whole dash, though, plus the glove box door. Guessing one for a 66 Valiant would be a lot cheaper, albeit still expensive.

Yowch. I sorta thought that might be the case. Mine is ugly but at this point, so is the entire car, so...
