It will be 102 here in Boise today .
I will be riding my motorcyycle anyways.... we dont have the humidity you have in Seattle. I can't imagine how miserable it will be at 100+ and humidity !

These mornings and evenings have been terrific. No complaints from me! But I don’t like AC

Let the middle east blow each other up.
Stop sending money to Ethiopia, Africa, south America.
Where are all these nature protectors and naturalists when it comes to ..Natural selection.

Instead you have the ultra rich in their puppy dog trances saying it's the middle class American that needs to die...whalah in comes the scamdemic.

Those with thee largest populus =happen to be the most polluted and harmful in the arena of earth saving...china, middle east,Africa, south America, mexico, n.korea.

Ever try and wrap your mind around the fact that the country we share a border with still pisses in schitt's and holes in the ground , runs around shooting people like cowboys, throwing sewage into the rivers left and right ,still have a hundred year old diseases rampantly spreading , running scared to our county and then carrying on the same as they did there...
Embicles... nothing but selfish embicles.

I actually agree with this .

Yes .. Ultra rich doubled their net worth over the last 2 years... us not so much.
Not sure how the Pandemic comes into play here ?

Because they have little to no regulations. I will assume you are for regulatory oversight ?

Because they have poor infrastructure , weak laws and enforcement , low taxes and corrupt government .
When Americans complain about high corp. taxes ( which they are not) in the US we should remember that the reason companies are so successfull in the US is because we all pay taxes to create and maintain roads , rails , electricity , clean water , an educated work force and law enforcement. They profit handsomely from what we all pitch in to create.
Try starting a company in Russia. 1st you pay bribes to even get permission followed by more to get anything else... maybe you can get reliable power.. or water . Then you need educated workforce . I dont see many companies relocating there ...lol

I just checked and at 1000 hours it was 100 degrees and we have a hot wind too. And I just mowed my lawn. The wife owes me BIG for doing the mow job in 100 plus degree heat.

Pussies you should be down here in Florida. You Sweat walking out to your car.
It's really relevant to where you're at. I lived in Florida for many years and I have more family down there than anywhere else I think. And I'm sure Arizona sees temperatures like this on a yearly basis.

Double check your history. This nation was far more prosperous and had a huge middle class right up to the “federal reserve” act (which is neither), followed shortly hereafter by the unconstitutional, immoral graduated income tax. Since then, the middle class has gotten smaller and the poor class got bigger and most of the wealth went to the top 2%, just exactly according to plan.

This country had the highest standard of living in the world (by far) and the best infrastructure in the history of the planet. All without the criminal income tax.

The founders knew the consequences of taxing a man on his labor, and that’s why the Constitution says you don’t pay taxes on your EARNED wages.

If we went back to that simple system, this country in 12 months would put the entire world to shame. The sad fact is the people who run this nation know that, and they do everything in their power to keep that from happening.

The rest of your post I agree with.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you pay bribes here to start a business. You are bribing the government to do what is your right to do, without interference.

It’s a “dry” heat in Arizona. So I hear. I spent some time in Tijeras New Mexico in 2015 and it’s the same heat there as it is here. HOT.

The Federal reserve act was in 1914 .
Our total defense budget was 416 million , there were few paved roads , little running water , no sewage plants , no power and the rest of the world was mostly 3rd world with no economies... not hard to be the best back then .
Life was simpler .

I have family that live there it's hot yes but they are from southeast Wisconsin so they can take it so quit crying.

Point is you said it hasn't happened in 170yrs but they recorded it 3x's in 100yrs.
what I said was it was 100 "here". I currently live outside of Seattle. In Seattle it was 102, not 100.
yesterday it was 104 in Seattle, a new all-time record. Today it will likely beat that new record, maybe by a bunch.

Check again. It was 1913. We didn’t need a big defense budget because we weren’t fighting wars that we had no business fighting. There were few paved roads because there weren’t cars, and horses didn’t care for pavement. They had fresh well water in most places, which is much better than the municipal crap I had for most of my life. There wasn’t power because Tesla had not yet worked out AC power. When he did, the US was far ahead of the curve on that.

Again, I suggest you check your history. This country was so far ahead in the industrial Revolution it wasn’t funny. You can try and convince people that rape of this nation’s middle class and its wealth through the income tax, but the fact is thats bull crap. The “hero” Eisenhower gets all the credit for out highway system, but Germany should get the credit for that. Good old Ike just copied what he found in Germany. And taxed the hell out of the working man to do his piss poor copy.

BTW, just to clarify defense spending, the founders were smart enough to to know a standing army was a bad thing. That’s why the Constitution says “you MAY have an army, you MUST have a navy”, because they knew two things. Any foreign nation trying to attack the US would have to do it by the sea. So they made the US Law to fund a navy. A standing army was not needed, as outlined in the Second Amendment. They also installed the amendment process for situations that would arise that they could not foresee.

Example? Today the amendment should read “you MAY have an army, you MUST have an navy and an Air Force”. This is because the only viable attack on the US would still require a navy and an Air Force.

Instead, we are raped of our wealth funding a military to fight wars for other nations, covertly and overtly, by proxy as well.

And I agree with all of the above . Just pointing out that it is more expensive to run a country in 2021.

I am a fiscal conservative and a semi social progressive . I like facts and logical analisys. Sometimes things are not as black and white as they seem though .

Fact is ... ITS FREAKING HOT IN THE NORTHWEST ! Lol

My girlfriend is staying at my house in arizona while i take care of some things in socal.
It has been high one-teens, low one-twenties, everyday for at least the last two weeks, and will be over 100 for the next couple months. I feel sorry for my two german shepherds who are used to playing outside five or more times a day.

But its a dry heat.

It's heading towards 102 here and I just swapped out the motorcycle for the Barracuda . No A/C , windows down and vents open . I am comfortable.... but 120 ! No way ... I dont know why people live down there ?

Eww

For the last 6 years or so I’ve tried to get some solar company out here to see about getting solar panels on the roof because I wouldn’t have a power bill all summer and probably most of the year, but no one is interested.
If nothing else, solar panels would shade your house without blocking your view.

Yep. I’m going to call a new place I found on the web and see if I can get them out here. I know with the 320 or so days a year we have without clouds our power bill would be close to zero or zero most any month.
