what the hell?!

I was surprised at how nice Tijeras is. I could live there. It’s pretty close o the climate and topography where I live now. ABQ was down the road but not on top of it.
Just south of Tijeras on RD 337 the elevation is higher and its a bit cooler, but the winters are still relatively mild. That's the place to be. Water is the only concern. It's all underground with only intermittent streams, and the level is dropping. So they say anyway.

I should have bought my retirement home during the drought scare. You couldn't sell up there. Now prices have tripled and there is no supply.
