Looks
Not as nice as a lot your cars, but here's my '66 Valiant. I bought a set of 14x4.5" steelies and some Toyo 185/75s to put on them. The tires showed up and I realized they were gonna be way too tall for the fronts. Decided to keep the 13s up front and put a new pair of Uniroyal 155/80s on those. Scored a nice set of dog dish from a fellow boardmember to class things up a bit. Pretty happy with the stance, but I think want to drop the whole car an inch or so.

My '71 Duster with its new shoes - SBP Cragar S/S. 15x7 in front (bought from a fellow FABO member), 15x8 in back 4.5" backspacing.

Tires are 275/60's in the back and 215/65's up front.

It'll be nice to swap between the two looks.

How's the turning ability with the 15's (do you have manual or power, stock or tight ratio)? Do they hit the front fender on hard turns (i've heard from some that can happen)?.. Thanks!

Turning is fine, no interference. Stock ratio power steering. Could probably space it out another 1/2”-1” without issue. Front is currently sitting about 3/4” off the bump stops

I don’t think that front wheel will clear the outer tie rod. Depends on brakes, but I think a 17x8 with 5.5” backspacing is about as much as you can get on an A body in a 17.

Love the look without the front bumper

Is there a way to fill that area?

WOW...that looks amazing

That has to be a one off piece...right?

I needed new tires this summer so I decided to change wheels also. I'm ditching the Cragar Quick Trick wheels and went with American Racing Torq Thrust D black. I've always liked em so now I got em.
Torq Thrust D 15 X 6
205/65R15 Advanta ER700 tires
All the same size so I can rotate when needed.
