I’m in need of a couple patch panels and it seems that Classic industries is the only place that I can find what I need for my 66’. How has y’all’s experience been with them, both the good and the bad?

The real answer to your question is who actually made the part and what is the quality. CI is just a vendor, they make nothing. For many of our Mopar models we have little to choose from as to repop sheet metal. AMD is probably considered the best and you can go to their website and see what they have. They have also stopped doing lots of Mopar metal.
Some patch panels from some companies are very poor, a 10yr old with a hammer an do as good.
A vendor is as good as their product (quality) price, shipping costs and customer service.
I personally try not to use CI or Year one. Just me.

Good experience here- quality stuff- rip you off on shipping charges- guess it includes handling...

I am working on a '66 too. I was lucky to get some good quarters patches with the car. I saw those CI ones and I have not been able to figure out who makes those. If you buy them let us know the quality of them.

Does anyone know what car this guy is working on?
Why do people start threads asking for advice then fail to mention the year of the car, the model of the car and the equipment? Forum members shouldn't have to pry information out of you to help you.

I am assuming a '66 Valiant/Barracuda.

I wouldn’t say it’s prying, just an over site on putting out information, but it is a valiant

Laysons has some awesome early A panels also reayll heavy, got them for my 64 Cuda. Worth a try.

It could have been a Dart, a Valiant or a Barracuda. Do yourself and others a favor and be specific.
Also, the term is "oversight" , not over site.
Good luck .

Grammar police at it again.. I find there site really difficult to navigate, but most things are of good quality. Shipping is expensive with them as mentioned. Hope there are no mistakes in this posting. :)

I had a 65 Drat that I HAD to replace the old Trans cooler lines. I ordered thru CI. I get one on and fine, the other had a bend that was 180 degrees backwards. Buyer was coming to pick it up so I told hm the problem and it had one new line and one old line.
I all CI and the customer service had no apology, just said send them back and we will send another set. I said refund my total cost of your bad parts and all is well. NOPE. Not returning nothing! I told him to little too Damn late bud. Screw you and your company.

I've bought alot of parts from Classic industries and their service has always been great! Shipping is high, but I get their e-mail codes and wait for a sale or free ground shipping when they have sales.
