gonna go look at a v100 2door 69 valiant any major things I should look extra at before making offer? or just the typical areas? I am familiar with early 60's never touched anything late 60's tho.

Frame rails, tortion bar cross members, trunk floor, driver's and passangers floor, quarters, rear of front fenders, if engine swap is it V8 k member, BB K member, front disc, 4 piston Kelsey Hayes (OEM) or single piston 73??? up swap, SBP wheels would be OEM, 7 1/4 rear or 8 3/4 rear?

Make sure the parking lights are in the grille

They used those on 2 models, the 69 Valiant and the 69 Daytona

You can imagine what that does to the price of them

wow didn't know that, yup they both there.

i found out the hard way when i bought a 69 valiant grille, without the lights, to put in my duster

Check to make sure the numbers on the paperwork matches the vin- possibly the engine and frame number.

Check where the car came from and any history the seller has. If it lived up north look hard for rust or panels welded in to cover it

That’s what we call pristine up here in Wisconsin.

Looks decent for here also ? 4800$ though?
yeah was 2much imo... he paid what the car was worth running in a little better shape not the shape its in so gonna be a hard one to pass along. he has other mopars so maybe someone here could get it on partial trade or something for parts.

All of the above, plus where the roof attaches to the upper quarters on each side. There's a seam there that rusts and people often times fill it with bondo. Also, open the trunk and look on each side under where those seams are for signs of leaks and rust. Also, inspect the very bottoms of the quarters behind the rear tires. Look ALL the way under at the pinch weld for rust and body filler. In general, inspect the car down low all the way around.

Perfect mini tub and drag car. Price seems a little high for a 2 door post car though. Maybe $2000. All i would be reusing out of that is the body. Junk the driveline. But they ain't gonna come down that far
