KH and Steel wheels

Hello,

Maybe someone can help me clear this question up.

Will SBP KH disk conversion fit with 14inch SBP steel wheels? I usually see this combination being used with the 14 inch rally wheels.

I like my steel wheels.
 
As long as they are 5.5J wheels, discs won't fit with 4.5 wheels...

If you are using all stock parts 14x5.5 OR 14x4.5 will fit just fine.

My guess is that the 4.5 were not considered performance and disc breaks were.

Maybe the tread width of a tire for 4.5 was so narrow that it would lock up the fronts too easy?

All just guesses.
 
The '70 Dart 4 door that I had was factory equipped with the K.H. small bolt manual discs and a 14 X 4 1/2 sbp steel wheels and full size hub caps.
No problems at all..........
