Here is videos of the 340 on the run stand for those who asked. I have a pending person for it . If he passes it will be at carlisle. I will not hold it . I will be there friday morning. It is a 4spd motor and has the bushing.

Heck I like the old heater in background just as much well done on it !!
 
local member pa340dart backed out of coming to carlisle . Wife reminded him of health issues. So the complete engine will still be at carlisle for best offer. as you see it but no pipes , bell , or starter .
The original carburetor , choke spring, Manifolds and mounts will be included. Drop in and go the motor needs nothing but fresh paint and tune up. No leaks or smoke at all. How many can you see and hear run before buying

The way you see it is the way it was pulled out it was not cleaned. All I took was the AC and air filter. I replace the pulleys with correct non AC parts. The manifolds were reinstalled with original hardware to start and sell with motor,

It will be at Carlisle C50-C52.

I'll try and bring a couple some are already accounted for. I am going to cruise around an check pricing and see what is there. I don't know what will fit in the trailer . I am bringing my Golf cart so room is tight. I am also coming to browse and look for parts.

Do you have a front sway bar with mounting brackets for a 67 Barracuda?
 
Steve, I’m still going to Carlisle
My Dart is an open shell which needs quarters paint etc
Been stored in one stall since 1985 The motor would probably sit for 2 to 3+ years along with the other parts I have for the dart in 2 other stalls
My GF laughs that I have the dart’s interior stored in the 3d floor spare bedroom Lol
I would rather someone buy it and put it in a car now and run it
Health issues are another issue

We put headers and some used wires on the 340 on the run stand for carlisle. It sounds totally different with headers. I'll get a video in the morning. I noticed the water pump has a bent shaft . Change the pulley no difference, Its the pump. Otherwise no leaks no smoke at all. Unbelievable for a 50 year old motor, I am not cleaning it at all. Its a survivor motor for a 70 car. Its a shame the car was rusted as bad as it was. The AC still blew Ice cold . I may bring the rear drum to drum 391's 489 low miles also. I am keeping the 4spd. It had SS springs from the 80's I'll bring them as well. I have the original carb and a spare matching carb same number also.
