Have a great 4th of July everyone!
With all of the problems in our country, it's still the greatest nation on Earth!

Can't wait... Dog hates it... He will be a complete Trainwreck all night. Maybe we can get some good gunfire going and have one fall out the sky and kill a kid like a few years ago.... This Holiday really brings out the best in people....

I'm glad that we have pretty much whipped the virus ( same as everything other challenge that has came our way ).
We considered going into town for the big fireworks show and supporting on of the restaurants there too. Final decision is stay home and have family and friends over for hot dogs, apple pie, and 150 dollars worth of dime store fireworks. While I'm out there picking up the mess tomorrow I might wish we had went to town. Happy Independence Day to all.

Have a great day on this fourth of July, our independence day .
May your fuses be long and your feet not stumble as you run .

I don't have money to explode so I don't buy fireworks.. the dogs hate it...
I hope everybody is safe and enjoys their 4th of July in the greatest country in the world!!..

My firework tale (true). If too long, please skip!
Dawson Ga., Dec. probably about 1960 I would have been 12, my cousin 15. Out at their farm, both dads, cousin and I... 2 big boxes of fireworks, M80s, cheery bombs, down to the little firecrackers, Roman candles, etc. Well it was Dec. cold and Xmas down there was celebrated with fireworks, way more so back then then the 4th. We had a small fire to help keep from freezing. We were firing off the small crackers right and left! Some how a spark got into one of the boxes from the fire maybe????!!! or from a firecracker. My cousin screams everybody run and we all did. We I got a few feet away and I tripped over some plants and fell on my face. Everybody else was still running away as both boxes blew at the same instance.
I had a nice hole in my winter jacket but it did not hit skin. My cousin was at the hospital getting small gravel and pieces of the metal flashlite dug out of 3 good size deep holes in his thigh. Dad had a couple of smaller holes, Uncle W.J. got away clean!!
As Pa had gone thru WW11, USMC Aviation, he mentioned that blast was just like a bomb going off, right in your lap. I remember the blast being so bright, it was like I had starred at the sun too long!
Please be safe all!

We do not celebrate the 4th of July. We celebrate INDEPENDENCE DAY.
Every country has a 4th of July.
We don't celebrate Dec. 25th or Jan 1st, do we? How about the day you were born? We say Happy Birthday, not the date.
Put the Independence back in Independence Day.

Be safe and don’t start any fires, kids! I’ve got to miss the big show because someone didn’t heed the fire restrictions.

p/s The pink stuff is retardant from air tankers.

Safe and sane...for those viewing it! Have a great sage 4th and don't park your car outside when mortars are going off. The clay shells can fragment and fall to the ground.
Angels July 3rd post game fireworks. Very good show.
