DOOR GLASS CHANNEL FELTS STRUGGLE!

I installed that kit on my 67,

You have to install it by trimming the plastic/felt and punching holes in just the right places, if you have your oem ones try to duplicate what is there on the new ones.

I did not have any restrictions from the new ones going up and down, I would suspect the alignment of the vent frame and the other door hardware would be more of a problem.

I did find that the plastic / felt was crappy plastic that split if you looked at it wrong.

The cuts you have to make are:

Square - circle - square on each side of the plastic/felt that lines up with the nylon slides. And a small cut out at the top where it goes into the top of the vent window frame when all the way up.

I cut the upper end first to fit the white nylon inserts and once I was happy with the result I tried the length to fit.

Someone on FABO suggested using the loop (felt) side of adhesive backed Velcro instead of the plastic/felt. It has promise.

Either way the nylon inserts are the main fictional part of the kit.
