Keep us posted. I hate to hear about all these troubles with the hemi I was really wanting to buy a hemi ram some day! May have to go with a chevy or Ford or maybe even a Yota. Lol

That looks like so much fun..............I'm glad I got rid of mine instead of tearing into it.
If you would ever buy a dodge diesel truck you will never want anything else. Duramax would be my second choice. Then LS GM. Hemi's are great if you lease it and get another one after the lease is up $$$$$$. They say never let the warranty run out on a Hemi. They will drain the wallet.

Idle time and lack of regular maintenance are the key factors related to this type of failure. Chrysler first became aware of it when police fleet hemi chargers started to fail.(cars would sit and idle all day)They released a tsb or starcase about this to dealers about 10 years ago

I just did a 5.7 for my 09 Charger 2300 plus my labor
Bored
New pistons
New cam
Hellcat lifters
Heads rebuild
Everything new
So that is a Ridiculous price I wish you were closer I would be happy to help you
