2021 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals

-
I am also in the 67 to '69 Stock Dart class. Ill look for you! Number under my name is 1578. Been going to the Nats since 1991 and this my 1st time here. Went to Moparty last year and it was fun. I think this will top both. Also bringing a friends 1967 Coronet R/T. Thanks!!!

Sounds like me - Nats in Columbus (and Indy) since 1988, 4th Carlisle trip this year, and will have a friend's (driving from Boston) '67 Belvedere II in the Plymouth B-Body section! I think I got such a low registration number because I cancelled out of last year and returned my window sticker for credit to this year.

I'll be in E-5 & E-6 selling keys.
The reality of it is, I have a very limited stock.
As RPM440+6 stated, things are not back to normal and things have just been on back order for a long time now.
I have no keys for 67-68 trunks, the only thing I may be able to get is aftermarket keys. They can be expensive, and I'm not always happy with the quality.
I should be able to help anyone with keys from 1969 and up.
I'll have ignition keys from the 50's and up.
I'm not sure I'll bring a key cutter with me or not.
I'll have some lock sets and assorted misc small parts that I've acquired over the years.
I also have, if anyone is interested, a complete set of Mopar Parts catalogs (60's to early 2000's) as well as AMC, Jeep and Renault parts catalogs all on microfiche. I will also include a working Mopar microfiche viewer to go with it.
If anyone is interested, let me know, I'll bring it along, otherwise, I'll bring it to Mopar Nationals in Columbus. I'd like to get $200 for the complete set up.

Hunting a pair of BBP 15x8 Rallye wheels (largest that'll fit a stock rear suspension). Beauty rings & centers to accompany them would be a bonus. Wheels don't have to be pretty, just so they're straight.

Looking for a little more info on the Mopar Rebellion Cookout at the Expo Center Thursday evening. What time does it start ? Is there a charge ? Can I or do I need to bring anything ? What's the address for the Expo Center ? Thanks looking forward to it.

From Carlisle's website:

Free Thursday Evening Kick-Off to Carlisle
Hosted By Mopar Rebellion at the Carlisle Expo Center
The show may officially begin on Friday but the fun starts on Thursday with the Kick-Off to Carlisle party hosted by Mopar Rebellion. It is held at the Carlisle Expo Center and starts at 4 p.m. The expo center is a block west of the fairgrounds and is easily accessible by foot. If driving to the kick-off, you can input 100 K St., Carlisle, PA 17013 into your GPS.

The Kick-Off features inexpensive food, music, great Mopars and more. It is free for participants and spectators! There’s no judging – just fun with well over 400 cars. Be sure to arrive early before all of the spots are gone. Check out Mopar Rebellion on Facebook for more details on a fun all-Mopar event.

I met Dick Landy there one year...he was standing next to his Hemi Dart. I said to him "man I bet that thing flies..." he said " Yeah I had a lot of fun in it..." had the cigar in his mouth too..he was older white hair..it had to be a few years before he passed...

Easy way to find the Expo center..... leave the Carlisle Fairgrounds via gate three. Go straight through the intersection when able,
(there is a traffic light) you will see a traffic circle ahead, Expo Center at left.

Plans are to get to the camp ground set up the camper and head over to the Expo center. Last year was my first time at Carlisle and it was supposed to be a down year (I thought it was amazing) Can't wait to see what a good year looks like.

Will be there selling parts at our spot N-136. Usually get there late AM Thursday to set up. Stop by and say hello.

Been vending at Carlisle Chrysler show for 18 years now. Best show and will be super packed this year. No holds bar of anything Ma Mopar made and it will be there with thousands and thousands of used and new parts for sale. Spectators are around 70,000 people. Rows and rows in order of cars in the show field. Just checked the weather as I am a local here. Will be hot and humid as usual. High 80's and low 90's but it is very humid here. Bring lots and lots of cash, your own food and drink if you can unless u want to pay for sky high food prices once your inside the fairgrounds unless you step outside the back gate opposite side of gate 1 as local people live in houses sell burgers and dogs and soda but I was at the ford show this year month ago and that show was Packed with parts and cars but food prices outside gate were even getting pricey. $4.00 for a burger. $2.00 for hot dog and $2.00 for can of soda. These are just the locals that live right beside gate selling food. Guess its better than inside the gate though. U can bring a back pack to put your stuff in or bags or cart. A lot of people strap a garbage can to a cart or dolly or whatever you can and walk and buy parts and put in that way. U can bring your car or truck inside to pick up your parts if large. They give u some time like to do this no charge. You need hotel to stay in. Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Valley, Dillsburg, Carlisle Pike, these are towns away from Carlisle where in Carlisle they jack up the prices on motels for car shows. Best towns to get hotel. A lot of new hotels also so no flea bag hotels. There are some also in smaller towns like Mt. Holley springs. Boiling springs etc... All these towns are less than 10 miles from the fairgrounds. I don't recommend Harrisburg or farther out. Bring lots of time money and more time and no annoying people that dislike heat, looking at cars and parts, and people as they will ruin your weekend buy whining and bothering you that they want to go home. Whiners will destroy your weekend there at Carlisle. Leave them at home. Get there early like Thursday ( show actually starts Friday and is pretty much over and done and lots of venders leave Sat night now. used to be a lot stayed to Sunday afternoon but last 10 years I see this trend going this way. Show over Sat night but there still will be vendors selling Sunday just not as much. Show is really strong and on Friday and Sat and even on Thurs) Bring good walking shoes or sneakers and a towel for the humid and lots of water to drink like freeze it so it that its cold during day in bottles. Best show you will see in organization of cars and parts. Everything is organized very well. Parts in one area and cars in other area. They have free Hellcat rides and auto cross track they run the hell cats at. Also drag racing at South Mountain Dragstrip Friday early day and goes into early evening till 9 pm or so. Its about 10 miles from the Fairgrounds. Its a 1/8 mile track and is awesome and looks like they have a cruise in this year (not sure what that is gonna be or whatever at the track) They have a bus (school bus yellow I believe yet that shuttles you there for free, at least they used to every year but I suggest driving yourself if u can so u can do as u please) I am posting schedule of South Mountain Dragstrip. You will have a awesome time there.

I have 7 spots. O-74 thru O-79 and on the backside of those spots. I am right up from Legendary Auto Interiors as if your waling in from Gate 1. I am on the left side (same side as Legendary is on) I have barracudas and parts if needed. 64-69 years. Lots of doors and maybe some other parts. I have A, B, and C body parts. I will have a 69 Dart GT there on trailer. Needs restoration.

Also if you are retired veteran military or active duty or Guard. You get $5.00 off your entrance fee. Carlisle just started this at the Ford show this year I went to, you don't have to show them your ID but I would take it just in case or something with your DD 214 paper work a copy of it if you don't have a Id or copy of discharge certificate or even some type of e-mail with your name on it from military just in case.

Well let's hope the weather outlook improves, not looking all that spectacular right now. Temps won't be too bad for this time of year but currently there is a 40% chance of T-storms on Thursday and Friday. Hopefully those would just be passing showers and not monsoon downpours. Sat. looks to be mostly cloudy. It's been crazy hot/humid the last few days here in CT, rained today and supposed to be more over the next couple days. This humidity sucks! I'll be there come hell or high water but I hope this does not deter anyone else form going!

Looking for a pair of excellent 70-1 Dart front fender extension trim (or just one side at a time!). Will prepay (PayPal) for delivery to Carlisle.
