Where has all the money come from to clear out the boat inventory at Bass pro?

Brother tells the truth! But we're getting some rain today so I'm keeping the pontoon, unless someone offers us a boatload of money....... Lol

I grew up in MN and it was something if we hadn't had rain in a week !

horrible time to buy a RV. quality was pretty poor before the covid rush on them and now that they are being rushed together i could only imagine how poorly they are slapped together.. with things starting to retun to normal i imagine there will be many that bought RV's and really don't like it and will be selling in the next year or two.. probably going to be able to get some real good deals in the near future. and better yet hopefully the problems will be addressed by then too..:)
In my opinion you are 100% correct. Gas prices going up isn't going to help rv sales either. If we can hold off on some of this stuff for a year or two things should be a lot different. Including the price of building materials.

Yeah this is unusual for sure. We have a place on the Snake River near Pine City and some people have tried to brave the river and the river won! I've seen several boats being towed back and I'm sure it's because they sucked up some of the river bottom trying to get unstuck. I'm not gonna try it! Lol

We need rain in N Idaho, we don't get much, but we are 6 " below normal and the crops show it. we're going to burn up

Snake River ?

One of my friends in North Dakota tried to buy a lawn mower this last spring. They told him delivery in December. Wow!

It's named that because of the way it snakes around. In some areas the sun will be at your back and little farther down stream it will be in your eyes. It's not loaded with snakes. But there's some there. Lol
I know, the Snake River snakes through Lewiston, we have seven devils up here beautiful area.
I thought Pine City was on the South Fork of the Boise river above Anderson Ranch.
My dad and I fly fished up in that area several times over the years, the town we stopped in was Pine City.

This one's in Pine City Minnesota, lol. There must be a few of them around :)

The one in Idaho is just call Pine... its a township and on the S. Fork of the Boise river.

The one in Minnesota is called Pine City and is just off 35w north of the Twin Cities... I went to a camp nearby on the St Croix River when I was a kid.

We are in a bubble like the housing market a few years back, give it about a year, then stuff will be selling cheap.

I even thought about selling our camper, have not used it at all this year, because all the camp-sites are booked up.
I know I can get what I paid for it 6 years ago, and I bet it would sell in less than a week.

It’s all crazy in MI too. I know of a guy north of here who heard of a house that sold for $100K over the asking price!!!! Vehicles are nuts, too. Food is more expensive or non-existent. The local butcher store is struggling to get things at a decent price to have his weekly sales he normally does.

^^^I a person gets a mortgage there will be an appraisal by the lender.. The buyer an always pony up the diference in more cash! Nuts! Where do these people get their $$$$!? lol

As far as the housing market goes...that is all artificial

By not allowing banks to foreclose and kick out deadbeats, they have removed the bottom layer of the market, creating a shortage

Once we can foreclose and shortsale again, this will flood the market and the bubble will burst

I figure most of the people not paying their mortgage are bottom feeders, low end homes.

But, with anything there's a shortage, people will go nuts buying and pay silly money, look at toilet tissue, and everything else!!! Shortage, price goes up! I had a flat fixed yesterday at the local Mex. tire store, said they are having a hard time getting tires. I wonder how bad the prices have now gone up for tires!!!!?? I did not ask as I need none right now!! Aren't 99% of our tires coming out of China and Korea!?

I run Tiger Paws on my daily that are made in Indiana.

Those are good tires, my dad swears by them, he used them years ago, and I put a set on my wife's daily Jeep and she loves them.
