Duster for someone

-
Thats nice, but a lot of cash for a slant sux car. Todays money running slant sux, rust free, but needing the interior redone I'd say $3,500 max. 318 car maybe $5,500. Heck back in the 80s-90s these were $400 cars.

Yeah, some people think their stuff is GOLD!! Shouldn't there be a body panel between the top of the front bumper and below the grill? I wonder what other secrets are hidden?

good eye! yes there should be. not to pile on here but drop a $0 and it would be a good winter beater :D

No it’s not.

It’s just not a $13K 1972 Duster /6.

And it’s got a recent paint job that could be hiding collision repair.
Especially with the panel missing under the grill and front bumper misalignment.
I agree, it's not a $hit B0x, just NOT worth anywhere close to 13K

Didnt know $13,500 '72 duster 225 cars even existed.:poke:

At 13,500
it's a nice looking shitbox.:D

Hope that clarifies what I'm saying.

Good bones for sure but rest assured it needs everything else.
Cost ramps up fast on a build when extensive body work is required and then you have a pile of professional patches. There is probably quite a bit of wiggle room on the price.

6500 maybe

This is certainly a car i would consider for a high end project unless the repaint is hiding previous work. Good clean original floors, panels and frame are getting very hard to find. And then you have to get the price you are happy with. It's getting harder to recover your total costs anymore.

Maybe 3k unless you have lotssssss of extra $$$ you don't care about. I know the dollar is worthless but man you have to be somewhat realistic. How much to restore this car or do what you want with it vs just to purchase what you want in mint cond. You'll win almost ever time just buying what you want and you can drive it today!

PS look at latest post on duster for sale. And you could drive it away!

Just curious...what does a nicely built A body bring in your area?
Really depends what you want. A original number 1 or restored #1 is big bucks anywhere . Lots of very nice (with a good paint job) 340 cars probably 25 or so, seen some nice stuff but needing paint, front end work etc. for 10 -15. And a really nice one even a converted 318 with extras could be 20 - 30. Not some hack job. Complete upgraded wiring systems, working gauges, speedo, fast, disk brakes good trim all new front end bushings, professional work (big plus) and dana 60's etc. always bring a plus in any vehicle. If you have ever done any of this work you will understand (hard work) if not you can pay 10k for some junk and get a education. Nothing personal.
