2021 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals

-
What type of Covid restrictions are in play still for the area?
None. Mask restrictions are over. U can still wear one if you choose though. Hardly anyone was wearing masks at the Ford show in June I went to at Carlisle. 60,000 some people there. No masks needed to go into stores either. Just hospitals.

Current forecast is saying 60% chance of scattered T-storms Thursday around 11-12PM and Friday about 40% chance around 2PM. Sat looks OK right now, says partly cloudy. Temps showing 87º Thurs.-Sat. Weds. looks pretty hot though (94º) so it's going to be a humid affair.

Still going even if it rains. Wife asked me if we can take our 79 Chrysler 300 this year, so the Scamp will stay home. See you there.

Heading out tomorrow
We will drop the trailer
Spaces I26-31
Back Thursday to set up
I will be there with Brandon my son
Logann my granddaughter and Michael her boyfriend.
Good times with family and friends!

Camper is packed, except for my buddy John's clothes and steak dinner. He'll get to my place about 11am Thursday from Delaware, hang out til I'm done work at noon. Then he, my sons Jake and Josh and I will head out. The boys will be in Jake's 65 Bcuda and John will ride with me towing the condo. I'm only 1.5 hours away. As mentioned in an earlier reply, we're at Western Village campground thru Monday morning. This is Josh's 1st year going. Should be a blast as Eddie said - hanging out with friends and family.

I'll be at Western Village as well. Will stop by and say hello when I see the 65' in your camp. You'll know it's me when you see my stepson 16 years old 6'8" 300 lbs

Sounds good Ron. Look forward to meeting you. We'll be in the back row somewhere. Raven 5th wheel, red 05 Ram and Jake's black 65 B'cuda.
And that stepson will be huge next to my dwarf family. LOL

Aarrgghhh!!! Jake was getting his car ready, letting get all warmed up in the driveway, opened the hood to check the trans fluid and the top tank is spewing green juice out of 2 pin holes...... he's digging the radiator for my 68 out of the shed as I type........ here's hoping.

He just called me. My original 68 radiator in the shed leaks worse than his in a different place. JB weld is going to hopefully be a temp fix for the weekend. Guess what he's shopping for on friday......

I have E-body doors and fenders. Challenger and cuda and cuda hoods and challenger hoods. My spots are O-74-O-77 and on back side of those. 7 spots with about 40 doors all lined up and car on trailer 69 dart. Dave

We're in,like, J192 & K192 with a bunch of '67-'69 Dart stuff. Pop over and introduce yourself.

Jake scored a brand new Cold Case radiator for $180. It's for a stick car, so he'll have to pick up a trans cooler he's been wanting. For now, the JB is holding tight. He also has been needing mirrors for his 06 Ram - found a pair for $100 with the window/mirror switch panelz. And I picked up a 1st gen Dakota grill from marker light to marker light for a whopping 10 bucks and it is not the chrome one, to boot!

great weekend!
dodged the rain
decent temps
5 days with family and friends
can't wait until next year
