Hello,
I'm installing an EFi harness in my car and running Dakota digital gauges and have a what I'm hoping is a simple question.
My harness has to leads both single wire, one is for the oil pressure gauge and the other is for the oil pressure sensor (efi brain box info)

*Now from what I know about single wire pressure or temp sensors is that it's a resistance -ground. Depending on the amount of resistance given due to the pressure varies the amount of -ground to the gauge resulting in a gauge reading.... Correct?

The real question is: Do I need two sensors? Or can I attach both leads to one sensor?

No, you need to keep sensors separate, and the oil sender you showed in the photo is not a pressure sensor, it is a warning switch

Yes, the two sources require different values.
Okay thank you, I'll get it figured out!

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to order the correct sensor for the harness/brain box from Buchillon Performance.

Turns out I got a dakota digital 3 wire sensor with my gauge pack. So my only issue now is getting it wired up to the unit in the dash.
