Remove the oil pan and knock it out from the inside. Every time I've tried the screw trick, it swells the tube up and locks it down more. I've never been that lucky.
I’m not sure what size hole it is but I just use a Slightly smaller old drill bit (the unfluted end) inserted and gently drift it out with a brass hammer
