Just like the title says, how is it, as far as masks and places being open?
Going to Carlisle this week and the wife is worried so I'm asking.
Went to Carlisle last year, very few were wearing masks.
Going to get something to eat was another matter.
Are thing back to normal?
Places demanding to see shot records and such?
In Ohio, it's full open and for the most part, most things are back to normal.

I'll be there (Philadelphia) in October...but I doubt you want to wait that long to fund out

No restrictions. Was there selling last year. Be back this year.

More then a few FABO folks in the area selling,
. Stop by and say hello.

Almost everything I see is open and good to go. Service at some places I a little slow but that’s what happens when people make more money staying home. If anyone asks if you are vaccinated just scratch your head and look stupid. Works for me.

I tell folks to just call me Fido, I've had all my shots!
But I did get the Johnson & Johnson shot because I have an Ohio Educators License.
Oddly enough, when I got the shot, I never got a shot record and was told that the Board of Education had it on record if I needed it.

Coming to protest are you.:poke:

No, the wife has an annual conference to attend to, this year it's in Philly

First of, for them to ask that is a hippa violation

And secondly, if they are stupid enough to ask, I always tell them yes

And I am vaccinated, why just 3 years ago I got a tetanus shot

(I am not a guinea pig, and have not taken any covid shots, but they didn't ask about covid, did they?)

Hospitals
I get shots and blood work at Jefferson Hospital near Pittsburgh, mask required.

2016... Red state
2020... Blue state
you sure about that. lol I don't think the people of Pa know what they stand for.
I'm thinking more like a white state. a blank slate. lol

A liberal craphole. That's how it is.

Sad what Pennsylvania has become. I grew up in the little town of Waynesboro PA (45 miles south of Carlisle) It was, and hopefully still is, a God fearing "Red" place. Heck, the 600 employee machine shop I worked in after graduating high school closed down for two weeks during deer season. There wouldn't be anyone to run the machines if they tried to stay open.

I've been gone 37 years and can't believe what I hear and read about the state. :(

Only places requiring masks are hospitals, dr office…. Still see some wearing in stores, but not required.
And most of this state is still very RED. The population of Philly swings the state to blue.

And pittsburgh. I’m glad I’m in a red area 40 miles from there. Today I went to the dentist and got a check up and teeth cleaned, hardware store, gas station, got my hair cut, and stopped at Dairy Queen for lunch. I didn’t see a mask all day except for the dental hygienest and she always wore a mask while cleaning teeth.

Where did you work in Waynesboro? Was it Frick Company?

Just went to Mason Dixon last week. The amount of new construction between Carlisle and the MD/PA line on 81 is crazy. Mostly large warehouses and production plants.
