Here she is! The car is very nice and needs work..... It is the perfect car for us to build.

2brl, 318, 904, 7 1/4, Plum Crazy 1970 (71?) Challenger. Magum farce coil over rack&pinion K set up. 4 link coil over 8 3/4 rear. QA1 coils at all 4 corners. 392 scatpack hemi, T56 6speed and auto 8 speed.

Lots of parts. Lots of parts......

What do you folks think?

T56-6 Speed manual or 8 speed auto?

I think the auto is more marketable and honestly at this point I like autos.. Traffic in a clutch car sucks. My daily is a 2017 WRX (edit- the wrx is in for check engine mis fire) and it is a joy to "drive" but traffic sucks with a performance clutch.....
 
What a piece. I'm confident you will change hell outta that.
 
Auto all the way if ur selling it. Great score. But u may fall in love with it during the build. U have two choices. Do it for u or how u think someone else will want it. Kim
 
At this point, none of the cars are "for us". Everything is for sale and (I think) all our builds should be built with sale in mind.

Now days selling to John Q. Public means auto trans...
 
In today's market I expect you'll have more interest in an automatic trans, just they way things appear to headed IMO. Sure gonna be a fun build.
 
I had that 8-speed automatic in a Scat Pack and then a T/A 392. Best transmission I've ever owned and there's been a lot of them. First gear in the auto is 4.71 so that allows for higher gear ratio choices.
 
@Cope, if you use the auto and decide to get rid of the viper t56 shoot me a PM.

Nice score it's hard to beat a '70 Challenger. The 8 speed auto is a awesome transmission. However, being a old ride my money would be with the stick.

Do you still have your Dart? I haven't seen it in a while .

I still have the dart. She now lives at my house in driver condition. One day i will finish the blower build.
