, the NUT RETAINING THE STEERING WHEEL was metric. In other words, "the nut behind the wheel
I just replaced the clockspring on my 2006 grand caravan, to do it you have to remove the steering wheel. Got out my puller and some 10mm bolts, they would not screw in, I drove over to the parts store and tried an 8, too small WTH! Just for grins I grabbed a 3/8 bolt, perfect.

So to remove the steering wheel you need a metric wrench tho remove the nut ( not me) and standard bolts to use the removal tool.
