I am tempted to switch a 360 that I have from a 79 Magnum into my 225 Slant 6 push-button automatic 64 Barracuda. What would I need to adapt the 360 and save the push-button trans?
You can't "save" the pushbutton transmission to use it with a v8. The bellhousing part is completely different. You can round up a pushbutton V8 904 transmission and save the pushbutton shifting though.
