If we beat the CO up the hill after that run we got early libo. Out of >90 on a company run, only 6 or so beat that SOB. And why did you guys run those A-6 engines all F'n night? Tried dog too, tasted like corned beef, nasty. Never found out what was in the "monkey on a stick" they sold for a nickle outside the main gate, get about 2 bucks worth of those on the way in at 0200... Oh Yea! "feces" river smelled awful going out, never better coming back before curfew. ever eat a balut? I did one once, but i had more "Mojo" in me than a KC-135 could hold!
My daughter was born way up the hill at the hospital, I remember having to keep an eye out for the herd of monkeys that always hung around the dumpsters.
I also remember the A-6's from the flight deck of the carrier i was on, loudest plane on the flight deck, the EA-6's always fascinated me with the gold quad canopy.
