Tire size

Not available with 15 from the factory so no "correct" size.

You could get the same width equivalent, though.

I'm pretty sure all '64s had 13" wheels, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go to 15's. You're going to want something around 205-60-15 or 215-60-15. Trial fit them first, especially in a turn...

I think I'd go with 14s. The wheel wells in your Dart are not very big.

Yea I had 13"s and kept blowing them up, hard to find a good durable 13" tire these days, I have 14" rims for spares so gonna put them on just didn't know what size to get

A lot depends on the width of your rims, but I always ran 215-70-14s on my GTS and my old '66 Barracuda.

Thank you man bad *** ride you got!! I am thinking of selling my 64 because I never drive it anymore and it's all original thats why I went back with the 13"s to keep it all original, but as stated earlier, there is no 13" tires out there so I hate to send this thread in a difference direction but what is my original dart worth??? It is a /6 I had to replace the seats but kept inserts so basically it's all original thanks for replying:confederateflag::confederateflag::confederateflag::confederateflag::usflag::usflag::usflag::usflag::thankyou:

Don't sell it just because you can't get good 13" tires. Get some 15 x 6 wheels and some 205-60-15 (maybe even 205-50s) tires and enjoy the ride. Lots of ways to get 15" small bolt wheels, too (we made up some 15 x 10s years ago).

As for the value as it sits, I really have not followed early A-body prices, especially slant cars. So, I really have no idea, but a cool old car is a cool old car...

By the way, this is how 205-50-15s look on 15 x 6.5 rims on my Barracuda. We have run these tires and rims on my son's '67 Dart convertible and a '65 Mustang that he built (and sold). The tires were originally run on an '87 Daytona Shelby Z. I will probably run 215-60s on the Mirada wheels when the car is road worthy (these tires are OLD, but good enough for rolling the car around).

I have 215/45-17 on 8" rims on the front and 245/45-17 on 10" rims on the rear, and 64-66 front wheel wells are not small they are are rather big and take bigger tires to fill them up so they don't look so empty
