Clutch pedal just went almost to floor before engagement

70 duster, A833 put a diaphragm McLeod clutch into it last fall. Pedal engagement was at about 2 or 3 inches from the top. Worked great out about 600 miles on it. yes I removed the over center spring. Just today I went for a ride and went to shift and clutch pedal changed on one shift as if something bent and now something got messed as it engages about an inch or two off the floor. It was getting late so I never took a close look but could I have really bent a clutch fork that easily, it doesn’t look bent when I looked and the clutch still works, I would have figured if it broke, cracked I’d have no engagement. Can you pull the fork without removing the header? Maybe the fork pivot bent? Still seems if it broke/bent I would have lost all clutch, but it still works, engages and disengages just very very low. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks
