Rear ride height without air shocks.

They must be. I appreciate the help.

Any time. That's what I would do. Your springs appear good....just stock and you seem to want it higher. I kinda like some rake, too. I think you'll be happy and come out cheaper just fixin what you have. Make sure you tie the air lines in a safe place and you'll be good. Good luck with it! -Rob

I like air shocks but if you don't want to run them you could go with a little taller tire to give it the stance you want.

Yep, that makes a difference.

Looks like the problem I'm having with the air shocks comes from the driver side hose getting to close to the exhaust pipe. The pipe burnt a small hole into the hose. The shocks are a pair of Gabriel HiJackers part number 729706. Does anyone know of a place to get a replacement hose? I'm digging around the internet but there's a lot of different part numbers I'm seeing and I'm not sure which is compatible. Thanks.
Local parts store , or RockAuto will have the air line kit.

Can anyone recommend a good pair of air shocks if I decide to go that route?

Here you go, the best ride and they do not take a lot of air pressure to keep them up. Position your ride height where you want it.

Many A Bodies that I know of are running these now. Everyone that puts them on, problems solved, and they love them.
Rockauto.com 66 Barracuda.

These Monroe are the best product. Stay away from Gabriel Hijackers, they ride hard like a Lumber Wagon.
