Carlisle is back, the crowd was back, the vendors with a few exceptions are back, the swap meet will not disappoint.
I could not see it all in a day, but what I saw was on par with previous successful shows.
If your on the fence about going, I give it a thumbs up

Just wondering IF people were buying parts in the swap or just sightseeing!??
I really thought when the Covid restrictions eased way up and with stimulus $, people would go nuts buying parts, project, and done cars.

I go every year mainly for the swap meet and vendors, since I usually only go for one day, Friday.
I bought parts, some for a steal, (used)others not much less than internet (new) and happy with what I got.
The swap meet was crowded Friday and it seemed like the vendors were busy and happy!

Good to know. This old man needs to thin the herd some, early B bodies, and I have wondered if any cars are selling much.

Some of my friends at sell there said they did well this year. I got a couple good deals but I wasn't going for anything specific.

I use the "are people buying?" at the swaps as an indicator if people are really buying projects, as I need to thin the B body herd.

Some happy participants leaving Carlisle

I was there thursday afternoon to do some early looking but the gullwasher halted that. then again at 7:00am Friday...shopped all day Friday and half day saturday...Looked at Cars rest of time Saturday. I,ve been every year for many, and this was a great show/sell. I sold parts i delivered up there, and bought a ton for my 64 Plymouth, and the 71 Dart. Found some NOS/and New part deals at the swap meet, and bought from some of the big name vendors to get 'Show Specials"....Brought back a Station Wagon Full !!, Lets see. sold $150 and spent $3400...sounds about right.... and yes I rode a scooter.....
