No racing for me for awhile

-
Boy these mornings are rough. It feels like I’m pissing acid till I get my fluids filled up again. Medimusile has been a God send keeping the other end as happy as possible. It replaces the bulk I haven’t been eating. Hope I have enough strength to shower today before my cats kick me out

Hey Pittsburgh how's it hanging...:poke:...
Must feel like someone kicked you in the meatballs...:(...
All joking aside I hope you feel better soon.....
I just caught this right now I don't read the race part of the forum very much because I don't race...
At least I can cross "kick Pittsburgh in the nads" off my bucket list...lol .
Get well soon brother...

Damn John sorry to hear that. I hope you get well soon. I am too having medical problems. I have been thinking about sell my dakota and getting out of racing. John I hope you have a speedy recovery and look forward to your post about your new engine ET times

I’ll be listing my third duster the green one for sale in the near future. Kinda silly having three cars when you can’t get one to the track. I hate to see you sell your truck so just think it through.

No, don’t sell it. You need lots of stuff to play with after you get well again.

No my mind is made up. I can’t do what I used to do, or honestly care to. Nobody needs three cars. I have the keith black 572 in the blue car and I will keep my mega block and ready to go 512 assembly here for awhile. Hopefully I can finish the blue duster and at least make some NA passes. To old, to tired, to burned out for the heads up game and travel to be an also-ran against the money guys but it would probably be a fun 5.60-5.80 bracket car. That car would be easy to sell as even the previous owner has been after me to sell it back. That car will certify 6.50 (1/4 mile times).

I understand. Just trying to distract you with more discussion.
I would really enjoy more stories and pictures of the blue car for sure, if you get around to working on that one.

I can’t give much of an update. The pain was so bad last night I went to bed at 10. Sleep 2.5 hours empty the bad, back down for another 2.5 hours, empty the bag, move to couch to watch tv, back to bed. I did eat better yesterday. See the specialist tomorrow. I just wish I could sit in a damn chair without burning.

Very sorry to hear of your health issue. Always enjoy reading your posts. Your lucky to be retired and doing what you/we all enjoy. Get well soon. It sure does suck getting old.

Hey I had 45 good minutes in me so I took a nice hot shower and headed to the shop. A little 200 foot walk but feeling bad and today’s weather sweat was pouring out. My running boards are unsave to step on one more time to get to my doctor tomorrow so I took a milk crate I have and tied a long rope on it so I could use the crate to get in my 3/4 ton dodge then pull it in with the rope.

Right now you're thinking that water is your worst nightmare, work through it and stay hydrated and you will see better days ahead.
