Good deals? Long gone, greed rules everything.

Not true! I sold most of my stuff for pennies on the dollar. I priced to sell and it did. Even total junk I never expected to sell went down the road. I actually gave a few things away too. Here’s a couple things I had; Small bolt axles with green bearings for $75, brand new Hughes RV cam and good used aluminum water pump for $100...

Worth it just to not have it anymore cluttering up my life.

My best deal was my son needed two tail lights for his 85 turbo Z. He spotted a set (typically $300 per set in this good of condition) we asked how much and the guy said - “I’ll make you a deal- all the G-L-H parts I’ve got - $100.00” and he thru in a nice tote. My boy got a ton of hard to find stuff. Sensors, dash parts, throttle body, trim. Amazing deal.

I agree...
I sold about 75% of the parts that I brought to Carlisle and that was the goal. I'm in the winding down stage of the hobby and I would like to get to a minimum parts inventory.

Same here. I was set up by late Wednesday afternoon. Thursday didn’t sell much, a couple things after the sun went down. Then Friday about 40 percent of the stuff went and Saturday blew out a ton more stuff. So about 80 percent of the parts I brought went. All at smoking deals just needed to move the stuff. People seemed very happy to get the parts as well…Swingn.

No better feeling than when you find what you are looking for !

I sold a brand new locking gas cap for a later A body for $5.
All of my lock sets and switches were well below what the "big boys" sell them for. Probably better quality since my stuff is all made in the US.

I found a couple great deals and a few good deals. Walked 8 1/2 miles per my phone and barley covered the entire swap meet Friday.

That’s funny you said it that way. Saturday night my sons and I met up with a long time friend (like 25 years) and met for dinner at Longhorns. He quoted me his mileage for swap meet walk from his phone too. 7.9miles if memory serves. I had to have done more than that... my hip flexors are killing me today, or I’m just out of shape Lol! The swap meet was great except for all the people on “electric scooters or rascals.” Some I understand but most were just lazy.

10-4 About the scooter/golf cart thing…!!! Pain in the A** ..!! I agree if you really need one I understand but if not WALK..Swingn’

Is Carlisle like a big park with random parked cars and swap stalls? I see pics with trees and cars parked under there with no one for 50 feet around them. I don't think I could hit everything if it were just a walk in the park. Pomona is nuts: about half a square mile of shoulder to shoulder vendors in about 50 rows and then the rest are cars parked like at a Walmart on day after Christmas
..all on hot asphalt. Pedometer will clock 15 miles if you walk every row and the car corral.

You could say Carlisle is like a big park, 82 acres, camp grounds, road network, huge pole sheds and buildings, grand stand and stage and Auto test track. They pack the fairground with all show too, cause there's no parking on the fairground for spectators. I took a picture of my map (cause I don't know how to share a link) anyway I think you can make out the vendors and show fields. I read there was over 2900 cars registered in the show fields this weekend. All Mopars.

It's a fairgrounds.
The record has been shattered 2920 cars on the show field, that's rig[...].png

Found most everything I was looking for. Except 3 speed wiper motor grommets. I had a ball hunting! Blower motor switch was a challange. I'd say fair prices.

I found almost everything I was looking for and felt prices were good. Bought an interior screw kit from Herb's , sill plates and a washer bottle, motor, hose kit from Mega parts. I bought a really nice set of horns for my 68 Barracuda for $80 which I felt was fair. Picked up a few odds and ends around the swap meet and met a few FABO members as well. Can't wait till next year!!!

1965 273 AFB parts carb $25. Commando Base plate $10. 1964 big block water pump housing, pump, and thermostat housing $60. Milodon Hemi Oil Pan, like new $100. 71 340 intake $150. 65 273 Commando Intake $125(did not buy). AFB parts carbs $10(did not buy). 69 Barracuda front beak $145.
