Adjustable Timing Set

You talking a multi keyway type cog? Look for a lower multi keyway cog for a 440 , They share the same chain too.

Yes. JP/Rollmaster. Very high quality. On eBay reasonably.

I've got a JP Performance double roller set now with multiple keyways. Regardless of what I'm doing, I'm not getting the numbers I need.
That’s why they make offset keys, you can get close but if you want exact numbers that’s your best bet.

I'm supposed to pick up some bushings tomorrow, I was hoping to get the needed results with the multiple key ways, but it's "in between" that's getting my goat. I didn't know that the big block sprockets would of worked either. Thanks to everyone for the info.

I just did this on the slant I put in my truck. The pin size on the cam is the same diameter as for a SBC, so finding the offset bushings is easy. I drilled out the hole in the cam gear to fit the bushing and added the one I needed to exactly dial in the cam.

How far are you off?

Yes- as RRR asked “how far off are you?” Tooth to tooth on the crank is a big jump and finer adjustment on the cam gear tooth to tooth and then even finer at the pin.
You should be able to get down to 1 degree pretty easy with over the counter stuff.

440source 9 way billet, would need a HD (double roller) 6 upper cog.

yeah, that's why I stated you'll need a HD double roller /6 upper cog (not the 440 one offered here). How's that 440 gear drive behavin'?

Yeah and that was my question. WHERE you gonna get the double roller sprocket for a slant???

I got my double roller /6 cam sprocket via eBay, a NOS Mopar performance one from years ago. They pop up occasionally

He asked if, you asked where......no one asked how much. Neither did he ask when can I get it...so......:p

And at the end of the day, no matter how many 440 parts you throw at a /6.... it’s still a /6. Lol!

:poke::poke::poke:

I haven't tried a BBM cam sprocket, other than if it won't "clock" the pin straight-up installed, the only thing wrong would be the dots wouldn't line up when installed correctly. Which means nothing to Me, but may scare some off,...
