Paint mix ratio question

Isn't the cup getting wider as it fills up? I would think if the distance between 1:1 is 3/8, then the distance between 1 and the new mark would have to be a tad less because of the wider top part of the cup?
You are correct in your calculation, but this is the reducer, a skosh more won't hurt. The paint is a very light metallic, Medium Brown Iridescent, so a bit thinner will work fine.
I can work it out in mm and ml if you prefer....
I'd also need a much finer Sharpie, and possibly new glasses!

Should be good. But, don't over think it. The reducer ratio does not need to be exact. Not like the paint:activator ratio.
Agreed.
