My son cleaned up my old 1975 snap on toolbox,I can't believe what a good job he did.
Anyway there here are some really old stickers on that box and I thought it might spark some memory's in you old farts. That Appliance header sticker is from 1971..

,350 2bbl..

The engine is a 350 2 bbl...I had to take it out about 10 years ago,it was so full of carbon from just going to church and safeway for shopping the rings were stuck.I cleaned it up and did a valve job ported the head and stuck a little cam in it,220something@50.It made 283 hp with the 2bbl carb.
My son wants to put a 4 bbl on it but I don't want to...if I could find a stock carb and intake with a factory air cleaner I would.

Cool. Although - put an aftermarket intake on it and paint it to match the engine, small four barrel, black air cleaner and it would sneak by most everyone.

My Gramma had a Buick Apollo that was the same story, Church and Piggly Wiggly. Neither were more than 2 miles away. Me and Dad took it on the open highway and opened it up and she blew white smoke for about 2 miles before coming clean. Still wasnt 100% but I bet it felt a lot better to cough a few times and clear its lungs.

If I went aftermarket it would have started down a road I did not want to go...Headers a little bigger cam that kinda thing..I know myself. But you right it could have snuck by most..

Forgive me, I have been a dirty tool box...

I like your tool box,I had something like that with that style of drawer handle..Like all early Snap on boxes of that time the drawers were not deep enough to hold a lot of tools.Pretty sure your boxes are 1978, I don't know about the side cab...Cool boxes

Dicer...
I don't know really anything about boxes it's just I had to buy a bigger set a couple of years after my first boxes and that was in 1978.And I remember it hurt to buy a new set so soon and it to was still too small...Then in the 80's Snap on boxes got a lot bigger and I had to buy again and that set lasted until the 90's when boxes got BIG and I bought again...That purchase still sticks in my craw because it was 8 or 10 and I still could not get everything in it.That's the extent of my Snap on box knowledge.:)

Most added by me, some by the previous owner. You can tell by the fresh-looking stickers that I'm new to the Mopar game...but I'm okay with that!

Thanks! That’s my benchtop, with all of the frequently used stuff. I kept the stack sticker free.

It’s really cool seeing other people’s shops and the similarities - but also the differences. It can give some good ideas.
