The engine is a 350 2 bbl...I had to take it out about 10 years ago,it was so full of carbon from just going to church and safeway for shopping the rings were stuck.I cleaned it up and did a valve job ported the head and stuck a little cam in it,[email protected] made 283 hp with the 2bbl carb.
My son wants to put a 4 bbl on it but I don't want to...if I could find a stock carb and intake with a factory air cleaner I would.

My Gramma had a Buick Apollo that was the same story, Church and Piggly Wiggly. Neither were more than 2 miles away. Me and Dad took it on the open highway and opened it up and she blew white smoke for about 2 miles before coming clean. Still wasnt 100% but I bet it felt a lot better to cough a few times and clear its lungs.
