Sure no problem! And for s**** and giggles can you send me the money to do it... You know the money for the 9-in risers two of them, the eight studs, the throttle cable that will need to be longer..
The new gaskets, the new more extended fuel line.. the new hood with the bigger longer hole in it so it can be opened up and down without being lifted off every time taking two people...
How's welding together that homemade tunnel ram going for you that you were talking about at the beginning of the year here earlier in the thread?...

I just really wanted enough riser for the carburetors to be seen.. with just the tunnel ram all you can see is the air filters coming up.. with the 2-in riser plus the half inch nitrous plate the carburetor actually pokes up through the hood...

Have you had the car out much this year ? Are you going to make it to the track to test the nitrous ?

Well I talked to my buddy that built the single and dual 4 barrel intakes for the 5.7 Hemi’s. I asked if he would build me a dual tunnel tram for my 543 with max wedge ports. He said he will give it a go. Yeah!! Not sure if it will be 4150 style or dominator style. Kim

I’m not even close to have a runner, but I do have one. Needs assembling. Need lots of beer and free time to put it together.

All most never and not likely..
I've only had my go kart out once this summer.. Between work and the power wagon project there's not enough time..

I have the aluminum, I started a job at a machine shop near my home, not much free time figure when my engine is finished & home I can mock my heads on a junkie 383 block & get started. I'm pretty sure it's going to be fall though, it's too dang hot around here in central Wa

I am so happy with my tunnel ram I can't see why I wouldn't put 1 on the race car. I also need a Max Wedge port tunnel ram. Is a sheet metal one better or less expensive than an Indy?

I do believe you’ll pay a good bit more for a sheet metal intake over a cast intake. The sheet metal intake, if properly made will make more power. A lot of the “How much more power do they make” question is way to hard to answer since it is combination dependent and cubic inch dependent.

The easier answer is, how many seriously fast racers use a cast intake compared to a sheet metal intake.
Then there is that question to you. How much power are you making and do you need the sheet metal intake.
Then there is the rarity thing. How many cast intakes are out there for your particular engine?

Day late and many dollars short....but this was a week ago..

15.5 to 16 to 1 at 2000 rpm cruising. A bit lean but way better than 12 to 1. Hard throttle 13 to 1 could use a little fuel/jet. 14.5 to 1 at idle.

Finally building my rain air filter assy! Going to put some clear lexan around this whole lid! I was thinking about putting a light in the back of the 3/8 ths sheet. I think it'll travel throughout. Maybe purple to match the car. Too much?

Looking for a 2x4 top for my Weiand 383 HI-RAM.

383 will be a beast with a huge solid roller, gear drive, 12-1 compression, magneto, and dual Holley 660's

Here's my MR. Gasket Super Scoop with my HI-RAM in the background:
