You are assuming quite a bit without understanding the problem. I have had paint release for in capabilities which was the painters fault. You can have the best paint/body work then it comes apart. If that happened to you and you had already paid what would your response be?

1981 I picked up my old '66 Barracuda from the paint shop (Imron). Car looked GREAT. Took it home and put it in the garage. The previous owner stopped by a few days later. In the few days since I picked it up the entire car showed DA swirl marks through the paint. I took it back. The owner of the shop was more upset than I was. He covered the repaint (prep issues) and DuPont covered the paint (swelled). Sometimes things happen as the paint cures, but there would have to be pics and an inspection.
