yeah, real shame about the kit i bought and was forced to use. no matter how i tried to hit it with a heat gun (on a near 100° F day in the driveway) it would not conform, then i hit it with the torch, no better. finally i hit it with the old flip out box cutter and slammed it in just so i could cool off with a few barley pops and make it to work on Monday with something under my feet. but, man oh man, bummer about your original floor pieces. hopefully it went to a good home.
