Littleton Co- what can you tell me

 When the tornado sirens go off instead of heading to the basement we go outside and look for funnel clouds.
No joke we were in Kerrville, Texas last summer visiting my mom and a thunderstorm rolled through at dusk. It was friggin amazing, like I remembered in Philippines except this was right over us. Those were usually over the bay or a few miles away. Anyway were all watching in awe of the lightning dancing through the clouds and the thunder and then the winds came and mom hustled us inside. I trucked the kids to the back enclosed porch overlooking the golf course and the winds really started howling, trees were cracking and sheets of rain were whipping across the fairways and I was yelling "This is AWESOME!!!!" My mom was scared for good reason. a twister touched down 2 miles down the river from us and tore up an outbuilding. I love me some crazy weather as long as it doesn't hurt anything. CA is boring.
