Finally home
Here is what most of us low budget folks start off with unless very good at saving money.
My 70 dart swanger ( thats how John Anderson would say it)
It's been mine for about 3 years now, it has been sitting at my mother's under a tarp also under a carport. I finally loaded it up & brought her home.
First things first go apply for the title, I have a stack of paperwork like Bill of sales & all the work has been done by the guy who sold it to me for $400.00. I do need to put a roof on it since it had a vinyl top since it lived in a rainforest area of Washington state (which I have luckily) the rest of the body is surprisingly solid, quarters, floor pans & trunk very good shape.
It is to be a race car & nothing else
This car is getting my Andy F inspired 471
It will be a foot brake car for now & will decide gearing for the Dana 60 after the dyno which could be in the 650-700+ area
Goal weight 3-3170 with me in it.
Goal ET 10.00
I want to say a thank you too all who have taken the time to answer questions & steer me in the right direction for the 1.5 or so years I've been a member.
I will keep the progress pics coming....I do have a wife though, a full time job & some property to take care of too but I want to be racing next summer.
