318 - Magnum Engine Swap
- you can use the 318 mounts on a 360, but will need spacers for the one side where it bolts to the engine..
- yes, the 360's will bolt to the original 904. You'll need the right flexplate or converter. If 5.9 magnum and later than '96, just use the flex plate it came with for balancing. One hole will need a little ovaling. If using a 318 Magnum, no worries.
- All magnums were FI. In fact, all LA small blocks were TBI in the last few years. There are carb intakes that fit
- You'll need a car 360 oil pan and pickup tube
- Your 318 timing cover, water pump and pulleys fit the magnums. You'll need the correct harmonic balancer for the 5.9
