Another mill. This one looks pretty nice

One thing I found when I was looking at vertical mills is that many of the smaller mills do not have power down feed (which is probably not a drawback if you aren't planning on boring something) and they don't have a power table feed. I'd check if that Enco has either and if it doesn't, and that's not a big deal, $1000 is a good price.


My buddy has a Bridgeport like the one above. His table feed actually consists of a Mopar wiper motor and works great. I’m not a fast worker and have lots of free time so speed isn’t a big issue for me. Mainly looking for something to fab parts and take some of the manual labor out of it. Probably really need a mill like this and my buddies head machine then I would be set.
