Wow that's awesome. Its amazing to think about the amount of knowledge in that guys head!

My dad let me put an Isky cam in the 225 /6 I had in my first car - a '74 Dart swinger. This was the mid 90's, so pre-internet. We ordered it from a catalog!

The Cam Doctor is alive and well! Long live Ed! 65'
He is a LOT older than 65 years old. Did you read the title ?

I still have an Isky catalog on the workbench. It is quite thick! They had your cam back in the day no matter what you drove.

This is going to be ONE HELL OF A PARTY!!!

From nitromater.com:

On July 10 1921 Ed Iskenderian was born. After almost 3 years of not being able to celebrate his Birthday we decided that no "stinking" COVID or waiting until it was cooler is going to stop us from giving ED a really great Birthday Bash this year on Saturday July 10 2021 at LTR Racing Engines. He's been saying "Hey Pal - When are we going to have another party - I've been waiting almost 100 years for this one." It will be at the same place (29330 Hwy 178 Onyx Ca 93255) actually in Canebreak - population about 30 depending on who is home.

When Ed got back from WWII he waited about as long as he could and Kenny Harman told him he still didn't know how long it would be to get him a cam because he was so backed up. Ed being in the business of buying and selling machinery found some Norton grinders and converted them to grind cams. From there it is all History. Anyway the date is set and the place is set and everybody is invited. Just please call Lanny at (442) 272-2192 with how many are coming and if you have a "Cackle" car we'de Love for you to bring it. Isky doesn't know it but we are mounting 100 camshafts to a base with candles on them and it is going to be his job to blow them out. More details to follow.

According to later posts on the nitromater.com thread, there should be at least 14 'cacklecars' there. Also 'Snake' and 'Fast Jack' have confirmed attendance as well as local TV and Hot Rod Magazine coverage.
Man, I'd sure love to be at this party!

'Blackie' Gejeian?
3rd-generation California Central Valley raisin rancher.
Huge influencer on the T-bucket builds based on his '26 T-roadster build back in the '40s.
I didn't know him personally, but knew of him and used to see him each year at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona.
He passed in 2016 at the age of 90.

Yup. Gramps worked with him back in his dirt-track days and into the early 50s before going into the bar and restaurant business. Even though grandpa wasn't much of a hot-rod guy they remained friends.
