Tranny fluid smells

What was done to the tranny. Does the builder know torque flights? 2 is usually too tight on the front band. Kim

I put in a God Forbid tci valve body. It didn't function properly, so I pulled it apart, and went through it with their directions.
Shifts are good , kickdown works properly.
Should I back off adjustment to 2 1/2 turns?
