I'm not familiar enough to know what type/quality radio will fit that dash opening. I would find or fabricate a 'radio delete' cover plate.

Try not to cut it get the right radio.

If you want to install the factory AM radio... Move the aftermarket stereo, 4 screws hold the ash tray support. Radio will rotate right up and in. Nuts on the stems and small support bracket on the back.

Good looking cockpit!! The designers got it right. Something about the factory steering wheel that really finishes it off.

@RedFish nailed it. Usually you can lead with the stems and guide them right through the holes. Then use nuts on the stems and a small bracket on back to secure it. I've even had cars that only had the stem nuts and no bracket on the back. It will hold, but will rattle.

Should you want/need an AM/FM radio, a 71-76 knob-style AM/FM will fit the bill without any cutting and bolts right in. FWIW I used the same style knob 71-76 AM/FM radio in a 65 Dart, a 67 Barracuda, 70 Dart, 66 and 67 B Body.

What model AM/FM will fit a 65 Dart/Valiant 2 window bezel?
