I carry a S&W M&P Shield 1.0 in 45acp. I went thru dozens of guns at the range before deciding on my EDC. I like big, slow, damaging rounds, so 45acp is my thing. You need to be ready for it, it does kick pretty good, but with practice what I aim out goes down, full stop. Pretty much my definition of a carry gun. I haven’t left the house without it in years. It gets 100 rounds thru it every week, I clean it after range time and once in the middle of the week. I have never not had a round fire. I love my gun……
