Best weapon for Concealed Carry advise

I got Kitty a similar one years ago. It was the .357 Airlite. VERY light. TOO light. It had way too much recoil for her and hurt her hand. It's gone now. lol
That is a very good point too. Mrs. Big John has a LCP that she doesn't like to shoot. Great carry gun, but not good for her to put boxes of ammo through at the range, so not a good gun for her to carry on a regular basis. On the other hand, I like my LCP and get a kick out of shooting it, so it's a good gun for me. I like my revolvers better, but that's another story.

I think it's been repeated here a few times.. You need to be comfortable with it in your hand. You also need to be comfortable at the range with it. I like to know that I've put at least a hundred rounds with no hiccups through any semi-auto before I would trust it to fire when my life depended on it. That's one factor. The other is that a gun that's I don't like to shoot won't get brought out when I'm at the range. You need to be comfortable shooting what you carry.

If I go plinking with the .22 revolver (lot's of fun), I at least run a couple loads of practice ammo through my carry gun.
