I’m looking for a good set of 340 heads. Prefer local pick up in Northern California/ Northern Nevada but willing to pay for shipping for the right set.

what are your HP goals? Both 2.02 and 1.88 intake heads will flow 400 hp and stall out around .490
lift in stock form.
 
Power goal with my current parts is the low 400 range. I’m looking for 2.02 heads in case I decide later to go with a bigger cam, carb, etc. this way I won’t have to have to worry about getting head work done.
 
I may have a set...you going to Fall fling? shipping would not be friendly to either of us.

the 2.02" intake valves won't help.It's the heads that stall around .480 - .490 lift, but you will
have gains with porting
